Keeping warm

The weather in eastbourne over the last few days has been stunning – blue skies during the day and blankets of stars at night although it is very cold. This is definitely not the weather for eating salad or trying your new year detox. So do remember to eat warming foods. Grated raw ginger tea for those who suffer from cold hands and feet, homemade soups and casseroles with loads of root vegetables. At this time of year its so easy to carb – up but remember your protein levels – eat a little at every meal. This helps with sugar and carbohydrate craving and keeps your fuller longer.
